Autism Connect is a free, national autism helpline, providing independent and expert information over phone, email and webchat.
It supports Autistic people, their families and carers, health professionals, researchers, teachers, employers and the broader community.
ACD Tas is a peer-led not-for-profit disability specialist family organisation. Established in 1998 by a group of parents of children with disability who recognised the need for a professional state-wide family advocacy organisation, today ACD Tas offers independent: information & training, advocacy, consultancy, case coordination and peer groups.

​The Disability Advocacy Support Helpline (the Helpline) is an initiative announced as part of Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031 and is designed to improve access to individual advocacy. The Helpline is for all people with disability, their families & carers.
​The Helpline will provide people with disability access to advocacy support over the phone, and refer to in-person National Disability Advocacy Program (NDAP) providers and other community and government agencies if required.​
The National Assistance Card is a personalised Card to assist people with disability and health conditions in the community.
​
The National Assistance Card can:

Help cardholders communicate their unique areas of difficulty and the assistance they may need

Give cardholders greater independence

Assist cardholders to feel more confident in everyday social situations

Provide peace of mind for families and carers

Enhance community understanding of disability and health conditions

Support positive community interaction with cardholders.
ADHD Helpline

​The ADHD Helpline is not a 24-hour service; It is provided to help you find ADHD solutions and assist with ADHD Referrals; However, ADHD Foundation Australia is a charity, unfunded by the government. The ADHD Foundation operate with the help of kind donations and a team of passionate and dedicated volunteers. They have an large volume of calls and may not be able to respond to your call immediately.
Butterfly Foundation
Butterfly Foundation is the national charity for anyone in Australia impacted by eating disorders and body image issues, as well as the families, friends and communities who support them.

Butterfly changes lives by providing innovative, evidence-based support services, treatment and resources, delivering prevention and early intervention programs and advocating for the needs of our community.
Advocacy Tasmania is a non-profit, non-government advocacy and rights information service.
Systems and services can be very complex and trying to fix a problem or make a complaint can feel overwhelming. That’s when their advocates can help.
Their advocates know all about the aged, disability, mental health, and alcohol & drugs sectors and they can provide information and work at their client’s direction to resolve concerns.
Carer Gateway is an Australian Government program providing free support and services to family and friend carers. Care2Serve, the service arm of Carers Tasmania, is the Tasmanian provider of the Carer Gateway program and connects Tasmanian carers to free support and services available through Carer Gateway.​​
Australian Neurodivergent
Parents Association (ANPA)
The Australian Neurodivergent Parents Association (ANPA) is a Disabled People’s Representative Organisation, led by and for Neurodivergent parents. Their Constitution is grounded in the principles and objects of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), and they further align their work with other key United Nations Conventions, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is here every day of the year to support people living with non-visible disabilities in their communities. It is a simple tool for you to share that you have a hidden disability voluntarily. Simply by wearing the Sunflower, you’re just letting everyone know that you might need extra help, understanding, or just more time.
Neurodivergent Ally
Adelle is a clinical psychologist and Neurodivergent Ally came about because she was frustrated by the lack of neuro-affirming resources for therapists, schools, and families. She is a the developer of the Spoon Savers Cards and has freebies to help you be neuro-affirming on her website.
