Regional Autistic
Engagement Network (RAEN)
Your Story, Your Way.

It’s no secret that across the last year in Tasmania, crucial services and support for autistic and ADHD people have become increasingly harder to access and source. With the closure of Autism Tasmania amongst a raft of NDIS and disability reform - now, more than ever, its crucial that neurodivergent voices are heard and that as Autistic and ADHD folk, we get to be an active part of shaping our own paths and informing the systems that affect us.

As part of Autism Month 2025, RAEN is launching the “Your Story, Your Way” Campaign as an ongoing invitation to the Tasmanian Autistic & ADHD Community to have their say and share their experience of being neurodivergent.
RAEN is built on a foundation of disability leadership and community self care and we are committed to ensuring whoever you are, wherever in Tasmania, that you are able to bring your lived experience to the table and be part of a community that represents itself and refuses to be silent on the topic of its own wellbeing.
SHARE YOUR STORY
Use the prompt questions we have developed to submit your written, drawn, coloured, filmed or spoken response OR submit your freeform thoughts!

We want to hear about your experience being Autistic and/or ADHD, your thoughts on the systems that support neurodivergent Tasmanians and your hopes and dreams for your own future and the future of our Neurodivergent Tasmanian Community.

SUPPORT RAEN
RAEN is a volunteer organisation filling a huge peak body gap that no one else can. We are disability founded and led, all of our services are delivered by Lived Experience Facilitators and Consultants.
We need your support to continue our current work delivering a comprehensive PeerConnect Program, advocacy work, speaker & professional development events and more.
We have big dreams for the future! Help us to grow and support our community with connection, education and representation.
